Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Quarry Manager to coordinate and supervise quarry operations, ensuring a steady supply of raw material for plant production. You will evaluate maintenance needs, manage budgets, and guide safety and environmental programs across the quarry team.

The role requires substantial mining experience, supervisory ability, and a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and cost control within a busy cement production environment.

Qualifications

• 4 year/Bachelor's Degree in mining, geology, or engineering required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mining operations.
• Minimum of 5 years as a quarry supervisor preferred.

Responsabilités

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance standards for the Quarry Department.
• Monitors rock production to ensure raw material availability.
• Oversees quarry safety meetings and compliance with MSHA/EPA regulations.
• Plans long-term quarry development goals and budgets.
