Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company in Texas is seeking a Plant Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise production, safety, maintenance and quality programs across a major cement facility. You will translate corporate directives into local policy, overseeing a large workforce to meet production schedules and compliance standards.

The role requires 10+ years in cement manufacturing with plant management experience, plus strong presentation and leadership skills to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, chemistry, natural sciences, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a cement or lime manufacturing facility with plant management responsibilities.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office365.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise production operations, maintenance, safety and quality programs.
• Ensure production schedule aligns with sales forecasts.
• Lead plant staff and engage with government and community groups on compliance.
• Prepare regular production reports and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote safety and drive cost-effective productivity improvements.
