Amrize is seeking a 2nd shift Utility Operator to support operations at our Millville WV quarry. The role involves operating heavy equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production, and performing routine inspections and basic maintenance.

Ideal candidates have experience with wheel loaders and dozers, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work outdoors in a quarry environment while supporting maintenance and production teams.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial or recycling environment.
• Experience with wheel loaders and dozers is preferred.
• Experience working in a quarry, aggregate, construction, mining or similar environment.
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections.
• Capable of manual labor in outdoor industrial settings.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge for minor repairs.

Mansioni

• Operate wheel loaders and dozers to support quarry production and site maintenance.
• Load, move, and transport aggregate materials safely with loaders.
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections and report issues.
• Assist with general quarry labor and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with minor repairs using hand and power tools.
• Monitor equipment for unusual noises or leaks and report needs.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
