Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to transport materials across the quarry, operate front-end loaders, haul trucks, and other heavy machinery. The role requires working in varying weather and shifting schedules in a fast-paced quarry environment.

You will inspect equipment, report issues, and help maintain a safe, productive workplace. Strong teamwork, reliability and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in varying weather elements; quarry experience preferred.
• Experienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment.
• Able to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions.
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic and dependable in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to work in a team and assist co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks and other mobile equipment as required by quarry needs.
• Inspect equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets, report problems.
• Correct malfunctions or safety hazards or report to supervisor.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure safety during operations.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs to the team.
