Job summary

Amrize is seeking a 1st shift Pit Operator in Millville, WV to safely operate a front-end loader, stockpile aggregates, and support daily quarry production. The role requires a high school diploma and 2-3 years of loader experience in quarry or similar settings.

You’ll inspect equipment, maintain clean work areas, and follow all safety procedures. Outdoors work in varying weather is expected, with opportunities to contribute to a team-focused quarry operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years experience operating a front-end/pit loader in quarry,mining, aggregate, or construction preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment safety and daily equipment inspections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a pit loader to load, move, and transport materials within the quarry.
• Load trucks with stone, gravel, sand, and other materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues.
