Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations in Manquin, Virginia. You will safely operate haul trucks and excavators to move aggregate and other materials, following blueprints and site plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints/site plans and grade stakes.
• Strong understanding of excavation safety and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and haul trucks to move materials safely.
• Load/unload materials using excavator bucket.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and crew using hand signals or radios.
• Maintain logs of hours operated and maintenance activities.
