Job summary

Amrize, a leading construction materials supplier in the United States, has immediate openings for an Equipment Operator to support the Manquin quarry in Virginia. You will safely operate a haul truck and excavators to move aggregate and other materials, following site plans and safety guidelines to meet project specifications.

Requirements include a high school diploma, minimum 2 years of heavy equipment experience, knowledge of excavation safety and OSHA standards, and strong teamwork with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of excavation safety procedures and OSHA compliance standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and earthmoving tasks safely and efficiently.
• Operate a haul truck at the quarry to transport aggregate and materials.
• Load/unload materials using excavator bucket.
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment.
• Coordinate excavation activities with site supervisors and crew.
• Follow plans and safety guidelines to complete work as specified.
