Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quarry Operator to support production and maintenance at our North America quarry sites. You will report to quarry supervisors and work in a safety-focused team environment, handling heavy equipment and following plant safety rules.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years mechanical maintenance experience (welding preferred), ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to work all shifts outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred field of study: Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Diesel Technology.
• Minimum 3 years mechanical maintenance experience; welding experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work all shifts including weekends.
• Outdoor work in hot/cold conditions with dust and noise; PPE may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety, then quality, followed by production.
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others at all times.
• Actively support key safety initiatives and improve EHS.
• Keep all work areas and equipment clean, tidy and organized.
• Train and coach other employees when needed.
• Operate heavy equipment including haul trucks, graders, dozers, drills and loaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned across shifts.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
