Amrize is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for its Millville, WV Quarry with travel to MD/VA sites to support production. The role emphasizes safe operation, material handling, and site preparation in a dynamic aggregate environment.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of quarry or heavy-equipment experience, a high school diploma, and a strong commitment to safety and MSHA compliance. Travel to multiple locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of quarry/aggregate experience preferred.
• Experience operating excavators in heavy construction environments.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance with MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators to support quarry and aggregate production.
• Perform excavation, digging, loading, and material handling per production needs.
• Load materials into haul trucks with safe equipment positioning.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections and report issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and monitor equipment for hazards.
