Job summary

AECOM is seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to join the Qualys reporting function within the Cybersecurity Engineering team, focusing on external attack surface management and reporting. The role supports operation and optimization of the Qualys platform to provide visibility and actionable insights for remediation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT security, or related field and 6+ years experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting Qualys in an enterprise environment (EASM, CSAM, VMDR).
• Strong experience with vulnerability data analysis, reporting, and remediation support.
• Ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable insights for varied audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for Qualys reporting and risk visibility to stakeholders.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams for remediation data and reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver clear reports and dashboards for IT Infra, Cybersecurity, and leadership.
• Support and optimize Qualys EASM and CSAM to identify externally exposed vulnerabilities.
• Support and maintain Qualys integrations with ServiceNow for vulnerability intake and tracking.
• Serve as secondary support for Qualys platform operations including VMDR configuration.
• Expand Qualys reporting capabilities to additional modules as needs evolve.
• Drive continuous improvements to processes and security posture.
