Job summary

Qualys in Houston seeks a results-driven professional to deliver product and technical support for assigned accounts, identify new business opportunities, and translate customer needs to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering.

The role requires deep security knowledge, strong presentation skills, and the ability to travel across the sales territory. A bachelor degree or equivalent experience is required, with 5–7 years in the field and a Big 4 consulting background preferred.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with strong knowledge in security and compliance space (Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Policy Compliance) and enterprise security solutions.
• Familiarity with Federal regulatory compliance issues (ISO 27001, HIPAA, GLBA, SOX) is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to respond to emails, RFPs, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts.
• Identify and develop potential new business opportunities.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams.
• Provide functional and technical support to customers.
• Respond to customer questions on technical and business related issues.
• Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations.
• Attend conferences, seminars, etc.
