Where You'll Work:

Our Owatonna, MN location is part of our Dry Beverage Division specializes in agglomeration and/or coating of nutraceuticals and functional food ingredients in some of your favorite dietary supplements and drinks! The site has approximately 50 employees that contribute to our involvement in product formulations, ingredient processing and particle coating solutions within the food and beverage and nutraceutical ingredient industries. What You'll Do:

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for assurance that blended product and finished goods meet or exceed quality standards established by the company and Kerry customers. The Technician samples and performs a variety of pre, in-process and post processing tests and inspections of samples of raw and finished products following regulatory standards.

Duties:


• Conduct line Audits, case and other quality inspections
• Finished product testing:
o Timely sampling testing and reporting of results
o In-line inspections
o In-line product dispositions
o Sample retention
o Investigate causes of out-of-specification material
o Enter results into SAP program
• Product QA Holds/QA Releases
• HACCP & HACQP checks
• Documentation, record keeping and file maintenance
• Equipment standardization, calibration, maintenance and record keeping
• Laboratory inventory and general supply ordering
• Pre-shipment samples: packaging and prepardness
• Compile product, package, and ingredient data as required.
• Sensory evaluation of ingredients and finished products as necessary
• Perform misc. tasks as required.

This Second Shift Position is Scheduled to Work 2nd Shift from 4:00pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday, Overtime is Available but Not Mandatory

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Associates of Science or higher degree and/or 2 years of related experience preferred.
• At least 1 yr. of food or chemical manufacturing experience, chemical testing and analysis role preferred.
• Prior training in HACCP, SQF, CGMP's preferred.
• Utilization of SAP, MS and other manufacturing software.
• Ability to read, understand and follow laboratory, sensory and physical testing protocols and methods.
• Ability to work in a temperature controlled, manufacturing environment

The typical hiring range for this role is $21.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
