Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company in Michigan is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to direct all CMM programming activities within the production environment.

You will ensure safety, drive continuous quality improvements, coach staff, and coordinate with maintenance, metrology, and programming teams to meet schedule and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has an associates degree, 6+ years in a related role, and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma and QM systems.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent is required with 6+ years of related experience.
• Lean Thinking and/or Six Sigma training is preferred.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and influence others without direct authority.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional prints and regulations.
• Strong written reporting and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates all CMM programming activities in support of production.
• Ensure compliance to safety, EHS requirements and procedures.
• Monitors production data and coordinates inspection with maintenance, metrology, and programming teams.
• Leads continuous quality improvements and achieves metrics (safety, on-time delivery, first pass yield).
• Coaches team members daily and conducts performance reviews.
• Maintains PMs, 5S, and QA standards in the department.
• Handles ADP time-off approvals and collaborates with HR on disciplinary actions.
