Job summary

Harbinger is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive the Quality Management System across our EV manufacturing operations in California. You will lead internal audits, document control optimization, and cross‑functional initiatives to meet ISO 9001:2026 and IATF 16949 requirements, while enhancing data integrity and process efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in quality systems, ASQ certifications preferred, and strong root‑cause analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality systems and manufacturing quality.
• ASQ CQE/CQA/CMQ/OE or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Expertise with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional alignment to ensure QMS compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Manage and optimize QM systems and document control processes.
• Schedule, prepare, and conduct internal QMS audits.
• Lead root-cause analyses and drive timely corrective actions.
• Develop and mentor internal auditors for cross‑functional audits.
• Implement layered process audits across manufacturing areas.
• Track data‑driven quality metrics to verify corrective action effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality ownership.
