Job summary

Harbinger, an American electric vehicle company in California, is hiring a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001:2026, IATF 16949, and customer requirements.

You will lead cross-functional audits, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions, while developing internal auditors and implementing Layered Process Audits to drive continual quality improvements across manufacturing and supplier networks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, results-oriented engineer with focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, auditing and communication skills required.
• Experience translating customer requirements into scalable quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure QMS compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Manage document control and QM systems for data integrity.
• Schedule and conduct internal QMS audits and drive corrective actions.
• Develop internal auditors and lead process audits across manufacturing.
• Implement Layered Process Audits to sustain compliance and improvement.
