Job summary

Harbinger Motors is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of the quality management system across Engineering, Suppliers, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. You will define quality standards, inspect materials and processes, and lead corrective actions with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–8 years in manufacturing quality, ISO 9001/IATF knowledge, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or similar technical degree required.
• Knowledge of ISO-9001:2018 or IATF 16949 strongly desired.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CQI, CQM) preferred.
• 3–8 years in manufacturing quality or supplier quality roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Define quality standards and implement QMS processes across Engineering, Suppliers, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
• Inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications.
• Lead APQP and determine corrective actions; develop QC systems and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with production leadership to implement controls and continuous improvements.
• Lead root-cause analysis for internal and external product issues and validate corrective actions.
• Lead MRB meetings and participate in ECN/engineering change processes.
