Job summary

Harbinger is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (High Voltage Systems) to define and drive supplier quality processes across HV components and electromechanical assemblies. You will ensure safety and quality across materials, equipment, and processes while leading audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a background in electrical engineering, 3–7 years in automotive/EV supplier quality, and knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 and HV safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years in manufacturing quality or supplier quality in automotive/EV/aerospace or power electronics industries.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage systems and EV architecture.
• ASQ CQE/CQA/CQM or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2018 or IATF 16949.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, SPC, PPAP, FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA), and MSA.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30–50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality standards for HV components and assemblies.
• Inspect and test HV materials, equipment, processes, and products for safety and quality.
• Conduct supplier assessments and audits for HV manufacturing and electrical safety.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits, APQP, PPAP, and related quality activities.
• Lead supplier audits and CAPA, including 8D and 5-Why analyses.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing on DFMA/DFMEA and risk mitigation.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
