Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to define and implement QA processes across engineering, suppliers, purchasing and manufacturing. You will drive continuous improvement and maintain the QMS, ensuring processes and outputs meet quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or similar technical degree.
3–8 years in manufacturing quality or supplier quality.
Automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
ASQ certifications preferred (CQE, CQI, CQM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher).
Knowledge of ISO-9001:2018 or IATF 16949 strongly desired.
Familiar with core quality tools: QMS, Audits, APQP, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, MSA.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality standards, control systems, and manufacturing quality processes.
Inspect materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure specs.
Collaborate with production leadership to implement controls and improvements.
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Support supplier, production, and product issue resolution.
Participate in design reviews to mitigate manufacturing risk.
Create forms and instructions for data collection and reporting.
Lead MRB meetings and act as QA representative on ECR/ECN boards.
Drive KPI implementation with internal teams and contract manufacturers.
