Job summary

Facility Services Management, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager / Site Safety and Health Officer (QCM/SSHO) to ensure contract objectives are met and to oversee quality and safety compliance. The role requires leading QMS activities, safety program development, audits, and enforcement of regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• At least five years of experience at a comparable level of responsibility in projects of similar size, scope and complexity in construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Proven ability to develop Quality Plans and Procedures.
• Knowledge of principals and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Direct removal, rework, or replacement of defective materials or poor-quality workmanship.
• Perform inspections and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Serve as key contact with customers and ensure corrective actions meet specifications.
• Prepare and document quality plans, policies, procedures and summaries.
• Plan and conduct internal audits.
• Verify contractor PM records and logs are attached to equipment.
