Job summary

Amentum seeks a Program Quality Manager / Site Safety Health Officer to lead the QMS and SSHO program for a DoD/DOS contract. You will oversee quality, environmental, health, safety, and continuous improvement teams, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance and a robust audit and corrective action system.

The role requires on-site presence and coordination with USG and site leadership. The applicant must have a BS, 5+ years in Quality and Safety, and certifications such as CSP/OSHA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a US accredited college; operations/quality focus preferred.
• Five years in Quality and Safety.
• Five years as Site Safety/Health Officer on large DoD/DOS programs.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry or Construction; CSP; ANSI Z359.2; EM 385 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and prioritize safety as the highest priority.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and QA requirements; provide necessary information.
• Lead CI and Safety Management activities; recommend training and methods.
• Align safety with product line needs and service support.
• Manage safety policies for international/US government requirements; supervise staff.
• Maintain audit schedules; perform audits and report findings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors' safety reps and verify compliance.
• Develop and revise hazard analyses; implement corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze data; report safety performance to leadership.
• Prepare management reports and track KPIs; ensure training delivery.
