Midnight Sun Global Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Traveling Quality Control Manager / Site Safety and Health Officer (QCM/SSHO) to support federal construction operations across multiple project sites in the United States.

The role requires on-site management of quality control and safety programs, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and applicable regulations. Travel to various sites is expected, with safety and documentation as top priorities.

Qualifikationen

• 5 years of total experience as a QCM and/or SSHO on federal government construction projects.
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, USCG or other federal clients is highly desired.
• Experience with IDIQ/JOC/SABER/MATOC contracts is highly desired.

Aufgaben

• Serve as on-site Quality Control Manager and/or SSHO for all construction activities.
• Maintain on-site presence during active construction operations as required by contract.
• Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP).
• Conduct three phases of control (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up) for contract compliance.
• Perform daily quality control inspections and maintain detailed QC reports.
• Enforce OSHA and USACE EM 385-1-1 safety standards.
• Conduct daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and weekly stand-downs.
• Prepare AHAs for all definable work features and review submittals for compliance.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
