Job summary

Facility Services Management, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager / Site Safety and Health Officer to ensure adherence to contract PWS, government regulations and industry standards.

You will oversee QMS, safety plans, audits and corrective actions across site operations. The role requires five years of construction-related experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead quality and safety initiatives in a hospital or healthcare-like environment.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• 5+ years in a comparable level of responsibility on construction projects.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining service quality.
• Experience developing quality plans and procedures.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and satisfaction assessment.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Direct removal, rework, or replacement of defective materials or workmanship.
• Perform inspections, identify corrective and preventive actions, and follow up.
• Ensure execution of corrective actions per customers' specifications.
• Prepare and document quality plans, policies, procedures and summaries; oversee subcontract activities.
• Plan and conduct internal audits.
• Verify contractor- provided records and logs attached to equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and promote quality awareness.
• Coordinate subcontractor performance evaluation program.

Education

High school diploma or GED

5 years of experience in construction

Excellent verbal and written communication

Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
