Job summary

MISUMI Americas is seeking a Manager, Quality & Safety to lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, steward the QMS, run the QC Lab, and implement a comprehensive Safety Management Program across the U.S. and Mexico.

This on-site role in Schaumburg is pivotal to building a scalable quality and safety framework for the organization. You will drive supplier quality, manage audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical preferred).
• 5+ years in a quality management role.
• Experience with ISO 9001 audits; familiarity with AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers.
• Own end-to-end Supplier Quality program.
• Maintain ISO 9001 QMS compliance.
• Manage QC Lab operations in Schaumburg.
• Develop safety program across US and Mexico.
