Job summary

MISUMI Americas, based in Schaumburg, IL, is seeking a Manager, Quality & Safety to lead our quality and safety programs across the U.S. and Mexico. This on-site leadership role manages Supplier Quality Engineers, maintains the QMS, runs the QC Lab, and builds a scalable safety program.

You will collaborate with operations, drive continuous improvement, ensure ISO 9001 compliance, and report to senior leadership. Travel is required several times per year.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership of quality and safety program across US & Mexico.
• Own end-to-end Supplier Quality program including onboarding and monitoring.
• Lead internal and external audits and CAPA processes.
• Develop and drive ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers.
• Set SQE goals, conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Coach on supplier communication, corrective actions, and audits.
• Own the delivered quality KPI and drive improvement.
• Oversee QMS maintenance, audits, and documentation.
