Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Safety and Quality Consultant to manage multiple departmental quality projects and safety initiatives under supervision. You will define, plan, and guide all phases to ensure timely deliverables, supporting quality improvement measurement plans and coordinating with stakeholders at all levels.

You will also develop project deliverables such as workflow diagrams, status reports, and communication plans, while partnering with an analyst to execute

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 2 years’ experience in Quality & Safety, Performance Improvement, or Project Management.
• Or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple enterprise projects and completes assigned activities under weekly supervision.
• Defines, plans, and manages all project phases, coordinates day-to-day activities and maintains documentation.
• Develops deliverables such as workflow diagrams, presentations, status reports, communication plans, meeting minutes, and timelines.
• Develops and executes quality, safety, and improvement measurement plans with an analyst.
• Communicates findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Performs data coordination and basic analysis to support projects and meet objectives on time.
• Collaborates with senior staff to refine project workflows and processes.
• Provides education and training to junior staff.
