Thermal Care, Inc. in Niles, Illinois, seeks a Quality Manager to lead our quality function and sustain our quality philosophy across the organization, reporting to the Director of Operations.

The role focuses on maintaining a robust QMS and driving continuous improvement with suppliers and engineering teams. You will oversee finished product quality, manage internal and external audits, and support corrective actions while guiding a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business admin or related field; 10+ years of direct work experience.
• Up to 6 years of direct/relevant supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality techniques.
• Strong leadership, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to read mechanical drawings.
• Quality Management System auditing experience.
• Experience as ISO Management Representative required.
• Positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
• Team orientation with effective verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee evaluation of finished products for quality and reliability.
• Lead internal and external audits, CAPA systems, and Management Review as ISO management representative.
• Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System to meet goals and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with purchasing on the development and implementation of a supplier management strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering on new product development and design review for quality issues.
• Travels to suppliers to participate/lead as Quality Liaison.
• Analyze and resolve process quality issues and needs as they relate to performance and requirements.
