Thermal Management Solutions USA is seeking a driven Quality Engineering Manager to lead quality initiatives at the Romeo, MI facility. You will oversee quality activities across departments, ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, and drive continuous improvement in products and processes.

The role requires 5+ years in quality engineering with 2+ years in leadership, and a strong background in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and 8D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 5+ years experience in quality engineering with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or similar standards.
• Proficiency in core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D.
• Experience in automotive, thermal management, or manufacturing industries preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills; CQE/CQM or Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives at the Romeo, MI facility and ensure certifications are maintained.
• Coordinate Quality, Customer Service, Metrology, Supplier Quality, and related teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and monitor APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC in development and production.
• Manage nonconformities and drive corrective/preventive actions using 8D, PDCA, and related methodologies.
• Prepare budget and manage resources for quality operations.
• Represent the company in quality-related customer audits and reviews.
