Job summary

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Systems Manager to implement and maintain quality systems across TEi and partner standards.

You will drive NCR/CAR processes and internal audits, verify actions, and lead continuous improvement programs to reduce COPQ and boost profitability. You will guide cross-functional teams, apply Six Sigma, DMAIC, and PDCA methods, and manage data-driven reporting to leadership while ensuring compliance with ISO and ASME

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or design-for-manufacture environment.
• Experience in power generation, petrochemical, or chemical equipment manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 auditing, with Auditor/Lead Auditor experience.
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, ASME Section III, 10CFR50 Appendix B, and NQA-1 quality requirements is a plus.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and non-destructive examination (NDE) of pressure vessels or structural steel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Drive quality improvements and eliminate quality system issues through corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver internal auditor and process improvement training.
• Monitor and reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) while improving production performance.
• Analyze performance data and provide regular improvement reports to leadership.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute process improvement projects.
• Improve processes across operations, supply chain, and subcontract manufacturing.
• Promote and manage organizational change to increase profitability and business growth.
• Use continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, and statistical analysis.
• Establish systems to track, measure, and sustain process improvements.
• Focus on improving quality, efficiency, productivity, and overall business profitability.
