Job summary

Thermal Care, a leading process cooling equipment manufacturer, seeks a Quality Manager in Niles, Illinois. This role leads the quality function and sustains the quality philosophy across Thermal Care and supplier QA. Reports to the Director of Operations and manages the QMS in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing product quality, audits, supplier collaboration, and engineering support while driving continuous improvement and compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality techniques.
• Experience leading audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Must be able to read mechanical drawings.
• ISO Management Representative experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee evaluation of finished products for quality and reliability.
• Lead internal and external audits and corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System to meet company goals.
• Collaborate with purchasing on supplier management strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering on new product development for quality.
• Travel to suppliers to participate as Quality Liaison.
