Job summary

Pratt & Whitney AutoAir Lansing, MI is seeking a professional Quality Manager to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring QMS adherence and overall product quality while supporting daily operations of a manufacturing cell.

You will lead and mentor the quality organization, partner with safety, operations, engineering, and maintenance to meet deliverables, conduct investigations, root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement within a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 7+ years of quality/engineering/operations in aerospace or regulated industry.
• 5+ years in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or MRO operations.
• 5+ years of leadership experience with technical teams.
• Experience with QMS and audits (AS9100/ISO 9001) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality engineers to deliver results and maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the quality org.
• Collaborate with safety, operations, engineering, materials, and maintenance to meet deliverables.
• Approve technical data and work instructions to support engineering and operations.
• Lead MRB/Clinic activities to manage inventories and projects; drive corrective actions.
• Develop proactive quality initiatives and drive implementation.
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for nonconformities.
• Promote Product Safety and Quality culture through QMS compliance.
• Manage internal audits and corrective action programs; reduce quality notifications and costs.
• Represent the business with customers and suppliers; build relationships and resolve concerns.
