Pratt & Whitney AutoAir Lansing, MI is seeking a professional Quality Manager to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring QMS adherence and overall product quality while supporting daily operations of a manufacturing cell.

You will lead and mentor the quality organization, partner with safety, operations, engineering, and maintenance to meet deliverables, conduct investigations, root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement within a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

Advanced degree and 7+ years of quality/engineering/operations in aerospace or regulated industry.
5+ years in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or MRO operations.
5+ years of leadership experience with technical teams.
Experience with QMS and audits (AS9100/ISO 9001) is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of quality engineers to deliver results and maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the quality org.
Collaborate with safety, operations, engineering, materials, and maintenance to meet deliverables.
Approve technical data and work instructions to support engineering and operations.
Lead MRB/Clinic activities to manage inventories and projects; drive corrective actions.
Develop proactive quality initiatives and drive implementation.
Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for nonconformities.
Promote Product Safety and Quality culture through QMS compliance.
Manage internal audits and corrective action programs; reduce quality notifications and costs.
Represent the business with customers and suppliers; build relationships and resolve concerns.
