Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department, ensuring compliance with QMS and supporting audits. You will bridge manufacturing, engineering, and upper management on quality-related priorities and metrics.

The role focuses on maintaining certification, managing customer quality requirements, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven reviews and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of quality management experience.
• 5+ years of aerospace or automotive industry experience.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators).
• Familiarity with AS9100:D/ISO9001:2015.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Quality Department personnel, setting daily/weekly/monthly priorities to meet internal and external requirements.
• Maintain and support Quality Management System compliance to customer, industry, and regulatory standards, including supporting customer and 3rd-party audits.
• Manage all Customer Quality Requirements and shipments to ensure documents and processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Serve as the liaison with manufacturing and engineering to resolve nonconformances and corrective actions.
• Report, track, and manage Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement systems across Aerodyn.
• Organize and analyze customer records for effective record keeping.
• Establish and present regular employee training on quality issues.
• Present quality management review meetings — metrics and key process indicators — to upper management monthly and quarterly.
• Provide additional support for plate inspection, part marking, FAI/data packages, inspections, and shipments as needed.
• Perform DSQR support to meet customer requirements.
