Job summary

Capewell Aerial Systems in South Windsor, CT seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality department, ensure AS9100 compliance, and drive continuous improvement. You will manage quality personnel, interface with customers and suppliers, and ensure regulatory and standards adherence across operations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quality leadership, with AS9100 Rev. D experience and strong data-driven problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in quality management roles with increasing responsibility.
• AS9100 rev. D experience and familiarity with ASQ accreditation are a plus.
• AS9102 experience and supplier certification knowledge.
• Experience with GD&T and government contract reviews is preferred.
• Internal auditing experience and data-driven quality improvements are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Capewell Quality teams and manage related personnel.
• Maintain QMS and AS9100 aerospace standard compliance.
• Evaluate operations to ensure products meet quality, integrity, and specification requirements.
• Develop and manage Quality Department budget.
• Oversee internal audits and supplier quality programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set quality standards and procedures.
• Implement testing and evaluation processes and review results for corrective action.
• Report quality status to executives and regulatory bodies as needed.
