Job summary

Pratt & Whitney AutoAir in Lansing, MI seeks a professional Quality Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and QMS adherence to support product quality across aerospace manufacturing.

The role requires advanced quality leadership, internal audits, corrective action programs, and collaboration with safety, operations, engineering, materials, and maintenance teams to deliver robust quality outcomes at the site.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Management within regulated industries.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Associate’s with 10+ years may qualify.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (AS9100/AS9110 or ISO 9001) and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory and QMS compliance across site activities and policies.
• Lead internal audits and corrective action programs.
• Mentor the quality organization to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with safety, operations, engineering, materials, and maintenance teams to meet deliverables.
• Lead training on regulatory and quality requirements as needed.
• Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
