Job summary

CSP Innovations OH Payroll Co., LLC in Conneaut, Ohio seeks a senior Quality Supervisor to ensure product conformity, drive KPIs, and uphold customer standards across APQP, PPAP, and IATF16949.

You will lead laboratory activities, coordinate with engineering and production, conduct safety and quality reviews, and develop preventive actions while maintaining the plant’s quality system and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree from a credited college, university or technical school.
• Ten years related experience and/or training in quality supervision or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of part layout, SPC, engineering specifications, IATF16949 and manufacturing operations, class “A” exterior body panels (preferred), and automotive customer portals.

Responsibilities

• Support plant safety procedures and safety policies (as part of quality leadership).
• Establish and track quality department goals and objectives (KPIs).
• Direct lab personnel regarding performance and material testing.
• Assist in daily review of production quality performance and to achieve effective and efficient production of quality parts.
• Develop short and long term strategy to support customer requirements and oversee quality system improvements.
• Represent Conneaut plant at the customer in the area of quality and monitor action items for corrective actions.

Job Description

• Support plant safety procedures and safety policies
• Conduct daily safety audits to ensure employee safety
• Establish and track quality department goals and objectives (KPIs)
• Determine quality department standards, practices, and procedures
• Ensure compliance to quality standards
• Track external customer quality rejections an internal quality concerns
• Track supplier Quality issues and performance
• Direct lab personnel regarding performance and material testing
• Assist in daily review of production quality performance
• Assist production and maintenance to achieve effective and efficient production of quality parts
• Schedule and chair regular quality review meetings to appraise
• Management of quality issues to ensure suitability and effectiveness of quality system
• Work with engineering to develop project launch strategy, capital needs, program timing in support of all APQP, PPAP, MSA and ISO9001/IATF16949 requirements
• Work with quality engineers and technicians to document trends in quality, compare against customer standards and plant goals
• Support advance quality activities, elements and schedules
• Represents Conneaut plant at the customer in the area of quality
• Develop short and long term strategy to support customer requirements, as required
• Manage safety as an equal to other key functions
• Monitor departmental action items to ensure timely and effective correction of issues
