Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Findlay, OH is seeking a lab specialist to perform testing and analysis of products using fixtures and gages. You will interpret customer and ASTM requirements and help with problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include gauge R&R, 5S maintenance in the lab, and developing PPAP data with support to Quality Engineering. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for cross‑functional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

  • Equivalent lab experience.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • MS Office proficiency and Minitab.
  • Ability to read/interpret GD&T and blueprints.
  • Perform gauge R&R and basic statistical analysis.
  • Willing to work extra hours.

Responsibilities:
Perform testing and analysis of products utilizing measurement fixtures/gages/equipment. Understand customer, ASTM and other testing requirements and implement successfully.
Identify suspect product and disposition accordingly. Communicate findings to appropriate personnel and assist in problem solving & continuous improvement.
Develop PPAP data and related forms. Provide necessary support to Quality Engineering.
Perform gauge R&Rs to reduce variability in measurement devices.
Maintain & improve 5S conditions in the lab.
Develop and maintain close working relationships between cells/departments to promote exchange of ideas.
Ability to read/interpret blueprints in English & Metric including basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Perform basic statistical analysis.
MS office proficiency including use of Minitab.
Must be willing to work extra hours if needed.
Qualifications:
Equivalent lab experience
