Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a quality-focused professional to perform testing and analysis of products using measurement fixtures and equipment. The role requires adherence to customer and ASTM testing requirements and accurate disposition of suspect products.

You will develop PPAP data and support Quality Engineering, while performing gauge R&R to reduce measurement variability. The position also emphasizes maintaining 5S in the lab, reading blueprints in English and Metric with GD&T

Job description

Responsibilities

Perform testing and analysis of products utilizing measurement fixtures/gages/equipment. Understand customer, ASTM and other testing requirements and implement successfully. Identify suspect product and disposition accordingly. Communicate findings to appropriate personnel and assist in problem solving & continuous improvement. Develop PPAP data and related forms. Provide necessary support to Quality Engineering. Perform gauge R&Rs to reduce variability in measurement devices. Maintain & improve 5S conditions in the lab. Develop and maintain close working relationships between cells/departments to promote exchange of ideas. Ability to read/interpret blueprints in English & Metric including basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Perform basic statistical analysis. MS office proficiency including use of Minitab. Must be willing to work extra hours if needed.
