Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a quality-focused professional to perform testing and analysis of products using measurement fixtures and equipment. The role requires adherence to customer and ASTM testing requirements and accurate disposition of suspect products.

You will develop PPAP data and support Quality Engineering, while performing gauge R&R to reduce measurement variability. The position also emphasizes maintaining 5S in the lab, reading blueprints in English and Metric with GD&T

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and analysis of products using measurement fixtures and equipment.
• Understand customer and ASTM testing requirements and implement them.
• Identify suspect product and disposition accordingly.
• Communicate findings to appropriate personnel and assist in problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Develop PPAP data and related forms.
• Provide support to Quality Engineering.
• Perform gauge R&R to reduce variability in measurement devices.
• Maintain and improve 5S in the lab.
• Read/interpret blueprints in English and Metric and apply GD&T basics.
• Perform basic statistical analysis using MS Office tools.
