Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies in Findlay, OH is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to perform testing and analysis of products using fixtures and equipment in accordance with customer and ASTM requirements.

You will identify suspect products, develop PPAP data, perform gauge R&Rs, and maintain 5S in the lab while collaborating across cells and departments. Proficiency in MS Office and Minitab is required.

FDB_Job_Title_Introduction

Responsibilities
  • Perform testing and analysis of products utilizing measurement fixtures/gages/equipment. Understand customer, ASTM and other testing requirements and implement successfully.
  • Identify suspect product and disposition accordingly. Communicate findings to appropriate personnel and assist in problem solving & continuous improvement.
  • Develop PPAP data and related forms. Provide necessary support to Quality Engineering.
  • Perform gauge R&Rs to reduce variability in measurement devices.
  • Maintain & improve 5S conditions in the lab.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships between cells/departments to promote exchange of ideas.
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints in English & Metric including basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Perform basic statistical analysis.
  • MS office proficiency including use of Minitab.
  • Must be willing to work extra hours if needed.
