Job summary

Forvia in Simpsonville, KY is seeking a year-round Quality Intern to support the Quality Department and assist with new product introductions and process changes. The role involves collaborating with Supervisors and Production Managers to address customer and plant issues, coaching rapid quality responses, and documenting actions in the Faurecia Quality Systems.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Metrology, Quality, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, maintains a 2.8+

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering/quality field.
• Enrolled full-time (12 credits per semester).
• Minimum 2.8 GPA required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Department within Faurecia.
• Assist with planning and implementation of new products or changes to the manufacturing process.
• Work with Supervisors and Production Managers to solve issues.
• Coach quick response and quality control processes.
• Report problem solving actions in Faurecia Quality Systems.
• Support Quality Systems implementation and changes.
• Interfacing with a diverse workforce.
• Ensure full respect of HSE rules and environment.
