Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a year-round Quality Intern for its location in Simpsonville, KY. You will support the Quality Department, assist with new product changes in manufacturing, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Metrology, Quality, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 2.8 GPA. Fluency in English is required, bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Metrology, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; full-time student status.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA and 12 credits per semester.
• Prior industrial experience, preferably in automotive.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Department within Faurecia.
• Assist with planning and implementation of new products or changes to the manufacturing process.
• Work with Supervisors and Production Managers to resolve customer and plant issues.
• Coaching quick response, quality control.
• Report problem solving actions in the Faurecia Quality Systems.
• Support the FES & P Manager and Quality Engineers on Faurecia Quality Systems implementation and changes.
• Support the team on day-to-day activities.
• Interface with a diverse workforce.
