Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a year-round Quality Intern for its Simpsonville, Kentucky location. The role involves supporting the Quality Department within Faurecia, assisting with planning and implementing changes to manufacturing processes, and collaborating with Supervisors and Production Managers to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Metrology/Quality/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 2.8 GPA, and possess strong English skills (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Metrology, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; enrolled full-time; minimum 2.8 GPA.
• Prior industrial experience; automotive preferred.
• Proficient level in English (bilingual Spanish a plus).

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Department within Faurecia.
• Assist with planning and implementation of new products and/or changes to the manufacturing process.
• Work with Supervisors and Production Managers to solve customer and plant issues.
• Coaching quick response, quality control.
• Reporting problem solving actions in Faurecia Quality Systems.
• Support the FES &P Manager and Quality Engineers on Faurecia Quality Systems implementation and changes.
• Support the team on day-to-day activities.
• Interfacing with a diverse workforce.
• Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations.
