Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Available to work an hourly schedule.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing or process improvement concepts.
• Ability to work in a production environment (standing, walking, observing).

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the production floor observing operations and learning manufacturing processes.
• Document current-state processes including process flow diagrams, work sequence, layouts.
• Perform time studies and assist with standard work development.
• Collect and organize production data and summarize trends.
• Support improvement projects and visual management on production boards.
