Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is hiring a Quality Inspector II for the 2nd shift. You will inspect cases and parts, gather data, and help ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards.

This hands‑on role includes mentoring others, using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, and collaborating with the Quality team to resolve issues while maintaining safe, organized work areas. Flexibility for shift duties is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• 2+ years using calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and tolerances to specs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments and manufactured cases for conformance.
• Mentor and train team members on inspection procedures.
• Support audits, lineups, and quality inspections with the team.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and accurate data records.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
