Job summary

Dover Food Retail in the United States seeks a Quality Inspector II for the 2nd shift in Richmond, VA to ensure safety, quality and performance procedures are followed in a clean, organized setting. You will support continuous improvement and data collection on measurements and audits.

Candidate should have 3+ years of related inspection experience, 2+ years reading blueprints and tolerances, and experience with precision measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience in quality inspection.
• 2+ years using and interpreting blueprints and tolerances.
• Experience with measuring equipment calibration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and performance procedures are met in a safe, clean, organized setting.
• Data collection and charting using calipers, micrometers and CMM.
• Work with Quality team on case lineups, audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of inventory storage locations.
• Support emergency procedures and safe evacuation protocols.
