Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is seeking a Quality Inspector II for the 2nd shift to ensure incoming shipments and manufactured products meet customer and company standards. You will inspect cases, mentor teammates, and support audits while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Required: high school diploma or GED, 3+ years experience, proficiency with calipers/micrometers, AS400 familiarity, and strong communication skills. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• 2+ years experience with measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• 2+ years using and interpreting part/assembly blueprint tolerances and specifications.
• AS400 experience helpful; ASQ certs beneficial.
• Experience in auditing processes and products.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cases and parts to prints using precise measuring tools.
• Mentor and train other team members.
• Collect data and chart results for quality metrics.
• Assist with audits, case lineups, and inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and storage locations.
