Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Quality Inspector II for the 2nd shift in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on inspecting cases and parts, mentoring teammates, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the case line. You’ll collect data, measure parts to prints, and support audits with the quality team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of related experience, and 2+ years with measuring equipment. AS400 experience and QA auditing skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• 2+ years experience with measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• 2+ years using and interpreting blueprint tolerances and specs.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and charting.
• Part measurements to prints using calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Load/product testing.
• Audits and inspections with quality team.
• Resolve supplier invoice/product discrepancy errors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory storage and plant areas.
