Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Chester, VA, is seeking a Quality Inspector II for the 2nd shift to ensure incoming shipments and manufactured products meet customer specifications and quality standards. The role involves hands-on inspection of cases and parts, mentoring teammates, and driving quality improvements.

While performing measurements with calipers and micrometers, you will collect data, document results, and collaborate with the QA team to resolve issues and prevent defects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in quality inspection or manufacturing.
• 2+ years measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers.
• 2+ years reading and applying part/assembly blueprints and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and performance procedures are followed.
• Data collection and charting to support quality decisions.
• Perform part measurements using calipers, micrometers and other tools.
• Load and test products to verify performance and safety.
• Assist with case lineups, audits and inspections with QA team.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
