Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is seeking a Quality Inspector II on the 2nd shift to ensure shipments and manufactured products meet customer specifications and our quality standards.

You will perform case and part inspections, collect data, measure to prints with calipers and micrometers, and support the quality team with audits and process improvements. A strong team player with experience in measurement tools is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• 2+ years with measuring equipment calipers, protractors, micrometers.
• 2+ years using and interpreting blueprint tolerances and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and performance procedures are met.
• Data collection and charting for quality metrics.
• Part measurements to prints using calipers, micrometers, CMMLoad.
• Work with Quality team on audits, lineups and inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in inventory and work areas.
