Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking an Inspector 2 in Ohio to perform inspection and checking duties on parts, sub-assemblies and incoming materials. You will read blueprints, measure with gauges and maintain inspection records.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5 years in quality inspection in manufacturing, and knowledge of AS9100 and First Article Inspection requirements. FAA safety compliance applies; permanent US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree a plus.
• 5 years of quality inspection/machining experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and measuring tools.
• AS9100 knowledge and First Article Inspection preferred.
• FAA safety compliance required for safety sensitive role.

Responsibilities

• Check parts for proper fit prior to welding/brazing.
• Read simple blueprints and specifications.
• Ensure specified weldments and template dimensions are correct.
• Use basic measuring tools and inspect incoming materials.
• Maintain inspection records and report defects to supervision.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain awareness of FOD, noise, and PPE requirements.
• Train other employees as needed.
