Job summary

Resonant Sciences LLC in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure safety and quality of products through rigorous inspections and process improvements. You will work hands-on in labs and on the production floor, coordinating with engineering and customers to address nonconformances and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a technical degree or certification, NAS410 Level II, and at least 3 years of quality experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College/Technical degree or equivalent technical/professional certificate.
• NAS410 Level II Certification in ultrasonic inspection.
• Minimum 3+ years quality experience.
• Good understanding of GD&T.
• Knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develops and initiates methods and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Devises sampling procedures; designs forms for quality checks and instructions.
• Maintains metrics and statistical records related to quality defects and corrective actions.
• Works with Engineering to define inspection and test processes.
• Coordinates with customers to notify production nonconformances.
• Performs inspections of incoming goods and materials to ensure quality standards.
• Certifies deliverables meet program requirements.
